What is collected

When you place a commission, the studio collects the information needed to fulfil it — your name, postal address, email address, and, for Gift Commissions, the recipient’s name and postal address.

No information is collected beyond what is needed to prepare and dispatch your commission. Nothing is sold, shared, or used for any purpose other than completing your order and communicating with you about it.

Payment

Payments are processed securely through the site’s payment provider. Story & Sigil does not see or store your card details at any point.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics and Squarespace Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are visited and for how long. This information is anonymised and is not linked to any individual visitor’s identity.

How information is stored

Order information is held only for as long as is needed to fulfil your commission and to meet legal and accounting obligations. It is not retained for marketing purposes.

Your rights

You may ask at any time what information is held about you, request that it be corrected, or request that it be deleted, subject to the studio’s legal obligation to retain certain records for accounting purposes.
